June 2008: ETB have launched the Pegasus-G, 3-axis accelerometer data logger. This is a unique sensor module is a small, light, self-contained and battery-powered 3-axis accelerometer which logs acceleration along three orthogonal axes. It is completely un-tethered giving unlimited range and freedom. Click here for more detailed information http://www.etb.co.uk/featurespg.html Pegasus-G units are currently in stock.
May 2008: CESMAS 2008 Utrecht. A paper will be given by Dr. Jeremy Naylor and Debbie Holmes on the 12th July. Validity of a novel accelerometer-GPS and stride characteristics of galloping Thoroughbreds: do they differ between constant and incremental speed exercise tests? The ETB Pegasus stride characteristic system was used in these trials.
ETB are proud to announce that they are continuing their sponsorship of Cleeve Stables racing yard.
April 2008: ETB have upgraded their Pegasus Stride Characteristic System to be completely stand alone. The analysis is now done on the supplied laptop, making it easier to look at results whilst you are doing trials and tests. All existing customers will get this major upgrade free of charge. Work carried out by Kathryn Nankervis at Hartpury College will be presented by ETB’s Diana Hodgins. The topic, Comparison of stride frequency measured using a leg mounted accelerometer and opto-electronic system. The ETB Pegasus-G sensor unit was used for these trials.
March 2008: HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum visits the ETB stand at the Dubai International Horse Fair to learn more about the Pegasus gait monitoring system. Click here to see a picture.

This will provide invaluable information on stride characteristics of horses in training and will help in developing optimum training programmes for our horses.
ETB and Dr.Jeremy Naylor the well known race horse trainer (www.jeremynaylor.com) of Cleeve Stables have signed a Memorandom of Understanding to help develop the ETB Pegasus system for Race Horse Owners. Jeremy uses technology in his horse training programmes. With ETBs leading edge knowledge on motion sensors a innovative training program using the latest ETB motion sensors will be developed.
